my friend and i are trying to figure out some of the stats for warrior monsters in HM. what makes it tricky, is that they have armor penetration. so you could end up with multiple correct answers. however i figure, you can't penetrate 0 armor. in other words, you can't make armor level go below 0. according to the wiki equation it is true, however i need someone to tell me from experience.

does armor penetration (i.e. strength) have an effect if your opponent has 0 armor?

edit: never mind, my friend and i tested it. armor penetration does nothing on 0 armor (i.e. naked)

Simple math from there on...but it would be about 300-350% at 0ar with 50%ap.

dont think you can make a foe drop below 40ar(when they have max armor). cracked armor cant make you go below 60ar, armor pen doesnt reduce ar, shadowy burden can give -20ar(but thats still only 40ar becuz you cant stack the effect with cracked armor)

why didnt i think about that, if you have no armor, you have nothing to penetrate lol. how did you test it? with a even weapon?(wintersday wep or banana scythe)?

Normal hits do not get any bonus from strength. Only attack skills.
